Abandoned without finishing:

00. The Passionate Torah, ed. Danya Ruttenberg - collection of essays I didn't read all of, although I intend to at some point
00. The Dictionary of the Khazars, Milorad Pavić - non-linear, was having too much trouble reading it in bits on the Tube
00. The Shock Doctrine, Naomi Klein - I think I grasped the central thesis about 30% in, and broadly disagreed with it, so I stopped reading.
00. The Grand Sophy, Georgette Heyer - This was amusing and fun enough until a giant greasy hook-nosed mass of antisemitic caricature swooped in and starting shuckling at Our Heroine, at which point I deleted it from my Kindle and did not look back. Gross, guys. Gross.
00. Why Do Fools Fall In Love?, Louise Marley - this is a jolly romcom starring an ex-police officer who is now bodyguarding a movie star; the bodyguard is a lady and the star is a guy, which I like. It is inoffensive but hasn't quite grabbed me 40% of the way through - I am setting it aside but will have no problem coming back to it if I run out of things to read (HAH!).
